MORE CROSS-LINKING. MORE DURABILITY. OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener is the B component, or 2K hardener, for OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil CLASSIC and Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE. Adding it allows both wood oils to be optionally applied as a high-performance 2K system. The hardener supplements the oil's normal oxidative curing with additional molecular cross-linking. This makes the surface ready for use sooner, gives it a higher final hardness and improves its chemical resistance. The colour effect of the raw wood look and the gloss level are barely affected by adding the hardener. Add hardener. Boost durability.  

The OLI-NATURA Hardener is the B component for selected 2K oils and enables significantly faster curing, greater resistance, and optimal oil bonding. Through additional molecular cross-linking, deeply anchored, closely cross-linked oil structures are formed, making the surface particularly robust and durable. Thanks to its VOC-free formula (0% solvents), the hardener is environmentally friendly and safe to use. It improves chemical resistance and optimizes pigment absorption in coloured oils. Especially with a very fine final sanding, it ensures that the oil penetrates deeply into the wood fibres even with high grits. FOR REGULAR CLEANING OF OILED WOODEN SURFACES Footprints, food stains, adhering dirt - oiled wood has to withstand quite a lot in everyday use. Usually, a dry cloth or clear water is sufficient. Where dirt can no longer be removed this way, OLI NATURA® wood soap comes into play. It cleans and cares for the surface in a single step, removes everyday dirt and also has a replenishing effect. This preserves the natural character of the wood - it can be used undiluted or diluted in a variety of ways. Which wooden surfaces is OLI NATURA® wood soap suitable for? For oiled, waxed, soaped or lye-treated wood indoors - from parquet and floorboards to stairs, furniture and other wooden surfaces that can be wiped with a damp cloth. Suitable for private and commercial use. When does wood need more than OLI NATURA® wood soap? Wood soap handles regular cleaning and maintenance care. For heavy, old, ingrained or deep-seated dirt, basic or intensive cleaning is the better choice - especially before re-oiling. If the surface appears dry, dull or visibly worn, maintenance oil for oiled wood is recommended. Does OLI NATURA® wood soap change the appearance of the wood? Wood soap cleans without leaching the surface or leaving a grey haze. This leaves the wood looking clean, fresh and naturally cared for after cleaning. How easy is OLI NATURA® wood soap to use? For regular cleaning, add 5–10 ml of wood soap per litre of lukewarm water and wipe with a damp cloth - using a cloth or white pad on small areas, and a floor wiper or flat mop on floors. In the past, boiled linseed oil was a standard coating for wooden surfaces and structural elements - both indoors and outdoors. In 2015, we revived the traditional formulation, refined it carefully, and had it tested for food contact. It penetrates deeply, cures in the wood, and forms a durable, water- and dirt-repellent coating. The transparent boiled linseed oil is suitable for the natural initial treatment of absorbent wood surfaces indoors and outdoors. The boiled linseed oil is solvent-free, suitable for children's toys, and LFGB-tested and suitable for wood surfaces that come into contact with food. How does OLI NATURA® boiled linseed oil affect wood? OLI NATURA boiled linseed oil is transparent and unpigmented, but it enhances the wood: the color and grain gain visibly greater depth, making the wood look more vibrant, warmer, and richer. Particularly light-colored wood species develop a natural honey tone. Since the color effect depends on the wood species and base tone, we recommend applying a test coat in an inconspicuous area beforehand. How is OLI NATURA® boiled linseed oil used? Apply the boiled linseed oil thinly and evenly with a cotton cloth or brush. After the penetration time, carefully remove excess oil and repeat the application after sufficient drying. Two to three coats are usually sufficient. What makes the traditional formulation special? Our purity promise for boiled linseed oil: pure, cold-pressed linseed oil, gently cooked and containing only as much drying agent as necessary. It accelerates and evens out the curing process. We deliberately avoid additional additives and solvents.

OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax for Wood: Traditional Wax Care, Reinterpreted for Today  A classic from our Heritage Collection, reimagined. For generations, natural waxes have preserved the beauty of valuable furniture and antiques. »OLI NATURA Furniture Wax« continues this tradition in a contemporary way with beeswax and carnauba wax. The solvent-free hard wax gives wood a velvety feel and protects it with a fine, water-repellent wax layer. Applied thinly and polished after drying, it develops a gentle to silky sheen. Which wooden surfaces is OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax suitable for? The colorless, unpigmented wood wax is suitable for the initial treatment of raw wood as well as for caring for oiled, stained, or waxed wooden surfaces indoors. It enhances furniture, antiques, picture frames, wooden mouldings, carvings, and turned woodwork. Its mild odor also makes it suitable for the inside of cabinets and drawers. Other applications include surfaces finished with chalk paint, wooden toys, cutting boards, wooden cooking spoons, and other wooden kitchen utensils. If the type of wood or previous treatment is unknown, first test the product on a small area. How does OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax work on wood? Unlike wood oil, which penetrates the wood and protects it from within, furniture wax works close to the surface and changes the natural color tone less. The grain and structure remain visible, while polishing gives the surface a subtle sheen. Regular rewaxing supports the development of an even, distinctive patina. How is OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax applied? Apply the wax to clean, dry wood. If the consistency is too firm, the closed container can be gently warmed on a lukewarm radiator. Use a soft cotton cloth to spread it sparingly, thinly, and evenly in circular motions. Leave to dry until the surface is touch-dry. Then polish with a fresh cotton cloth or white polishing pad. The more intensively it is polished, the silkier the sheen. For raw or highly absorbent wood, a second thin coat may be advisable after drying. Tip: A discarded, clean, lint-free cotton jersey shirt is also ideal for polishing. What makes the formulation of OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax special? Purified beeswax nourishes the wooden surface, while hard carnauba wax gives the fine wax film strength. The formulation contains no added colorants or fragrances and is free from terpenes—including terpene-containing citrus oils such as orange peel oil—silicones, and VOCs. Cloths soaked with the wood wax are not prone to spontaneous combustion.

White polishing pad - for final polishing:After the working time, polish the freshly oiled wood surface with the white polishing pad. If there is still a noticeable amount of excess oil on the surface, first remove it with a lint-free cloth. Then work out any fine excess with the polishing pad until an even, natural surface appearance is achieved without a wet or sticky oil film. Which wood surfaces is the pad set suitable for? The compact pad format is particularly suitable for furniture, tabletops and worktops, smaller wood surfaces, as well as edges, corners, and hard-to-reach areas. The pads are primarily suitable for smooth to finely sanded wood surfaces. For very rough, grooved, or textured surfaces, testing on a small area first is recommended, as the fleece may snag there. Are the fleece pads free of abrasive grit? Yes. Both the beige massaging pad and the white polishing pad are free of abrasive grit and non-abrasive. They are used to distribute, work in, and polish wood oil and have no abrasive effect. Are replacement pads and pads for larger areas available? Beige massaging pads and white polishing pads can be reordered separately. The Refresher is pigment-free, colorless, and formulated to be visually neutral. It cares for the surface without adding additional pigments or unnecessarily deepening the existing color tone. This makes it suitable for everything from raw wood look and white oil to colored-oiled surfaces. How easy is OLI NATURA® Refresher to apply? Clean. Apply. Spread evenly. Allow to dry. Small areas can be cared for with a cloth or white pad. On larger areas, the Refresher can be applied with a sprayer and spread with a flat mop or floor wiper. It is used neat and undiluted. How easy is OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil CLASSIC to apply? Within the Scandic-Oil family, CLASSIC has a thinner consistency and is specially optimized for roller application on parquet and floorboards. The system is applied in two coats. After the first coat, the dried surface is intermediate-sanded with a Swedish-red lacquer sanding pad. Polishing the still-wet second coat with a white pad makes the surface more matte. Thanks to its fast drying time, the complete surface system can be applied within one working day. For additional initial care, OLI NATURA® Refresher can then be used. When is 2K application recommended? For floors subject to heavier wear, Scandic-Oil CLASSIC is applied with OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener in a 10:1 ratio. TEAK OIL & DECKING OIL FOR OUTDOOR WOOD Sun and rain change wood. Even weather-resistant woods such as teak fade and turn gray over time. Regular oiling with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil counteracts the silvery-gray patina and helps protect the wood surface from drying out and becoming brittle. The oil penetrates deep into the wood and protects it from within. The surface remains open-pore and water-repellent, while the color and grain are visibly refreshed - without a closed film layer. Which types of wood and applications is OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil suitable for? For wood terraces, decking boards, garden furniture, pool surrounds and yacht decks made of suitable outdoor woods such as teak, bangkirai, Douglas fir, larch, eucalyptus, black locust, oak, Ipé or cumaru. The right choice when you want to preserve and visibly emphasize the warm character of the wood and are looking for a biocide-free wood oil for outdoor use. A particular advantage is the easy maintenance: The oil penetrates the wood and remains open-pore. The oil coating does not crack, peel or flake. Previously oiled surfaces can therefore usually be recoated easily without sanding. What does wood look like after applying OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? Oiling gives the wood greater depth and warmth. The color and grain appear more vivid, while the surface remains open-pore and natural to the touch. Natural contains no pigments, but it is not visually colorless: Like any color-enhancing oil, it deepens the existing wood tone. Teak is lightly pigmented, subtly enhances warm wood tones and provides increased UV protection. The Teak color is also suitable for other types of wood without covering them in a teak tone. The type of wood, its natural color and sanding affect the color tone. A sample area on the original wood provides the most reliable indication. All color tones are available as samplers. How easy is OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil to apply? Apply thinly, allow to penetrate, remove excess. Apply the oil evenly in the direction of the grain and polish completely after about 15 minutes. Apply only to clean, dry wood. Then protect the freshly oiled surface from rain and moisture for 5–8 days. Very dry or highly absorbent wood can be oiled a second time after drying overnight. Treat dense woods such as teak only thinly. One coat is usually sufficient for refreshing the surface. Previously oiled surfaces can generally be maintained without sanding. Depending on weather and use, refreshing once a year is usually sufficient; for fully exposed wood, twice a year if needed. What can you rely on with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? For buffing, applying & spreading wood oils. Our OLI-NATURA oil-absorbing cloths are ideal for absorbing excess oil and finishing freshly oiled surfaces. They are highly absorbent, particularly tear-resistant, and lint-free, ensuring a professional finish on wood surfaces. The solvent-resistant and silicone-free cloths measure 38 x 34 cm and are made of a high-quality viscose synthetic fiber whose chemical composition resembles cotton. This “natural synthetic fiber” with its fine perforated structure is perfect for cleaning, caring for, and polishing sensitive surfaces. In addition to use with wood oils, the cloths are also ideal for versatile cleaning tasks in the workshop or household. They also perform excellently when oiling small wooden objects. Note: Oil-soaked cloths can spontaneously ignite due to heat buildup! After use, they should therefore be spread out and dried in a well-ventilated place, washed out, or stored under water.

Versatile solvent-based helper The low-odour, aromatic-free OLI-NATURA oil thinner, based on isoparaffinic hydrocarbons, is ideal for cleaning tools after oiling and for adjusting the flow properties of our oils (not suitable for Scandic Oils). It makes oils that have thickened during storage workable again and can also be used to dissolve sticky oil films shortly after application - but only as long as the oil has not yet oxidized. Please test beforehand in an inconspicuous area. It can also be used to make a pigmented maintenance oil from coloured high-solid oils such as Colour-Oil, HS hardwax oil (coloured), or HS Professional Oil (coloured), using a mixing ratio of 2:1 (thinner:oil). Hardened oil residues cannot be removed or dissolved with the thinner.
