TEAK OIL & DECKING OIL FOR OUTDOOR WOOD Sun and rain change wood. Even weather-resistant woods such as teak fade and turn gray over time. Regular oiling with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil counteracts the silvery-gray patina and helps protect the wood surface from drying out and becoming brittle. The oil penetrates deep into the wood and protects it from within. The surface remains open-pore and water-repellent, while the color and grain are visibly refreshed - without a closed film layer. Which types of wood and applications is OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil suitable for? For wood terraces, decking boards, garden furniture, pool surrounds and yacht decks made of suitable outdoor woods such as teak, bangkirai, Douglas fir, larch, eucalyptus, black locust, oak, Ipé or cumaru. The right choice when you want to preserve and visibly emphasize the warm character of the wood and are looking for a biocide-free wood oil for outdoor use. A particular advantage is the easy maintenance: The oil penetrates the wood and remains open-pore. The oil coating does not crack, peel or flake. Previously oiled surfaces can therefore usually be recoated easily without sanding. What does wood look like after applying OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? Oiling gives the wood greater depth and warmth. The color and grain appear more vivid, while the surface remains open-pore and natural to the touch. Natural contains no pigments, but it is not visually colorless: Like any color-enhancing oil, it deepens the existing wood tone. Teak is lightly pigmented, subtly enhances warm wood tones and provides increased UV protection. The Teak color is also suitable for other types of wood without covering them in a teak tone. The type of wood, its natural color and sanding affect the color tone. A sample area on the original wood provides the most reliable indication. All color tones are available as samplers. How easy is OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil to apply? Apply thinly, allow to penetrate, remove excess. Apply the oil evenly in the direction of the grain and polish completely after about 15 minutes. Apply only to clean, dry wood. Then protect the freshly oiled surface from rain and moisture for 5–8 days. Very dry or highly absorbent wood can be oiled a second time after drying overnight. Treat dense woods such as teak only thinly. One coat is usually sufficient for refreshing the surface. Previously oiled surfaces can generally be maintained without sanding. Depending on weather and use, refreshing once a year is usually sufficient; for fully exposed wood, twice a year if needed. What can you rely on with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2 for furniture, stair, color, and parquet lacquers OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2 is the hardener component for the OLI-AQUA water-based lacquers listed below. It enables them to be applied as a two-component system and increases the surface’s mechanical and chemical resistance. A single hardener for different lacquer systems simplifies product selection and inventory management in joinery, interior finishing, and parquet installation. For clear lacquers in furniture and stair applications OLI-AQUA MODU T 18.32: Optional for two-component application of the colorless furniture and stair lacquer when higher resistance is required. OLI-AQUA NORDIC 18.40: Optional for increased mechanical and chemical resistance of the ultra-matte raw wood effect lacquer for furniture and stairs. For color lacquers in furniture and interior finishing OLI-AQUA MODU B 18.35: Optional to enhance the performance of the satin-finish color lacquer for furniture and interior finishing. OLI-AQUA NORDIC B 18.45: Optional for increased mechanical and chemical resistance of the ultra-matte color lacquer for furniture, doors, and interior finishing. For parquet lacquers OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50: Optional to further increase resistance when higher levels of wear resistance are required. OLI-AQUA TOP 51.20: Required hardener component for the two-component parquet lacquer designed for the highest levels of wear. OLI-AQUA AUTHENTIC 51.30: Required hardener component for the ultra-matte two-component parquet lacquer with a raw wood effect. Mixing ratio and required amount of hardener The mixing ratio is 10 parts lacquer : 1 part hardener. The following amounts are required for each quantity of lacquer: 1 liter of lacquer: 100 ml of hardener 2.5 liters of lacquer: 250 ml of hardener 5 liters of lacquer: 500 ml of hardener 10 liters of lacquer: 2 × 500 ml of hardener Thoroughly mix in OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2 immediately before application. Pot life begins once the hardener has been added. Prepare only as much material as can be applied within this time. Mixing instructions, any required maturation time, and application time are specified in the technical data sheet for the respective lacquer. Order the right hardener for your lacquer system  For MODU T and NORDIC clear lacquers, MODU B and NORDIC B color lacquers, and STANDARD parquet lacquer, the hardener for optional two-component application must be ordered separately. For TOP and AUTHENTIC two-component parquet lacquers, check the contents of the selected package to avoid ordering hardener that is already included.

Protect wood. Preserve the raw wood effect with OLI-AQUA NORDIC. OLI-AQUA NORDIC 18.40 is a water-based 1K/2K raw wood effect lacquer for indoor wood surfaces. Do you like wood as it looks when freshly sanded - natural and without a visible lacquer sheen? The raw wood effect lacquer preserves this character while protecting the surface in everyday use. The virtually invisible, ultra-matte finish makes solid wood and veneers appear largely untreated. Color and grain remain the focus - ideal for furniture, cabinets, doors, kitchen fronts, and stairs. Especially easy to apply: You only need one product for the basecoat and topcoat. The wood lacquer dries quickly, is easy to sand, and can be brushed, rolled, or sprayed. Two coats with intermediate sanding produce the finished surface. A test application on the original wood shows you the effect in advance - especially on dark or dark-stained woods. Optional hardener: For greater chemical and mechanical resistance, you can add 10% OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2. The mixing ratio by volume is 10 parts lacquer : 1 part hardener. Application instructions can be found in the technical data sheet. Relevant for stairs: The tested 1K and 2K coatings achieve slip resistance class R10. Colorful and ultra-matte: OLI-AQUA NORDIC B 18.45 - the color lacquer for furniture as a colorful alternative to NORDIC 18.40.

For buffing, applying & spreading wood oils. Our OLI-NATURA oil-absorbing cloths are ideal for absorbing excess oil and finishing freshly oiled surfaces. They are highly absorbent, particularly tear-resistant, and lint-free, ensuring a professional finish on wood surfaces. The solvent-resistant and silicone-free cloths measure 38 x 34 cm and are made of a high-quality viscose synthetic fiber whose chemical composition resembles cotton. This “natural synthetic fiber” with its fine perforated structure is perfect for cleaning, caring for, and polishing sensitive surfaces. In addition to use with wood oils, the cloths are also ideal for versatile cleaning tasks in the workshop or household. They also perform excellently when oiling small wooden objects. Note: Oil-soaked cloths can spontaneously ignite due to heat buildup! After use, they should therefore be spread out and dried in a well-ventilated place, washed out, or stored under water.

The “OLI-NATURA Project Oil,” based on natural oils, is used for the colored treatment of furniture, stairs, and floorboards made from almost all types of wood. It has a solids content of 60%, penetrates deeply into the pores, and reliably protects the wood from within. It does not form a surface film, but rather provides an open-pore impregnation. Thanks to the Project Oil’s high inherent penetration, it is particularly easy to apply and highly productive. With just one or two applications, extremely water- and dirt-repellent wood surfaces are achieved that are easy to maintain and repair. There are four colors that preserve the natural charm of the wood and enhance the tactile quality of the surface. The pigments preserve the wood’s grain structure and give the surface a natural color. At the same time, the UV-stable color pigments help counteract the wood’s natural color change for as long as possible. The Project Oil is ideal for all limed, untreated, sanded, or new wood surfaces, and is also suitable for oriented strand board (OSB) and cork indoors: whether for wooden or framed furniture, wall coverings, doors or kitchen furniture, parquet floors, or stairs. Easy to apply: Depending on the application, the product is applied in one or two working steps with a brush, a pad, or an oil roller, so that the entire wood surface is evenly wetted with a glossy film. After a short penetration time, the excess is simply removed with a cotton cloth/oil-absorbing cloth and polished again. If required, a second application can be made after drying overnight without intermediate sanding. For normally used furniture, a single application is generally completely sufficient. Floors, stairs, or heavily used furniture, on the other hand, require more protection. A second application is recommended here. To test the effect of the oil, we offer you a practical sample size. Quality: The “OLI-NATURA Project Oil” is based on modified vegetable oils such as linseed oil, medical-grade isoparaffin, and lead- and cobalt-free drying agents. We deliberately avoid using critical substances such as preservatives, formaldehyde, aromatics, biocides, cobalt salts, and oximes. The product cures within the wood in combination with atmospheric oxygen, forming a tough-elastic finish. The oiled surface remains open-pore and breathable. Due to its diffusion openness (water vapor permeability), the treated wood can store moisture from the room air and release it again when needed. This improves the indoor climate and increases people’s well-being. The cured material is harmless to humans, animals, and plants. It complies with DIN EN 71-3 (safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (resistance to saliva and perspiration) and is a construction product approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

Shake the bottle thoroughlyThe color pigments tend to settle - so shake the bottle vigorously before use to distribute everything evenly. They can be used for intermediate sanding or to abrade an existing seal. They can also be used for cleaning sanding of greyed, oiled wooden floors. The sanding pattern is approximately equivalent to grit 150. The standard pads are approximately 8 mm thick and have a diameter of 330mm (13''). Unlike sanding screens, the pad works more gently and leaves virtually no sanding marks. Unlike other pads, the sanding pad wears down during use. Approximately 10 - 15 m² can be treated with one side of the pad. However, this figure is only a non-binding guideline; the actual coverage depends greatly on the conditions on site. These dust-binding cloths made of gauze fabric with a tacky resin impregnation remove contaminants and the finest sanding dust before lacquering or oiling. Completely silicone-free and antistatic, this cloth is also suitable for all water-based lacquers. Its universal usability and outstanding dust absorption make it an indispensable tool for perfect oiling and lacquering preparation. The special impregnation with a slightly tacky synthetic resin gives the cloths antistatic properties, making them particularly effective at binding dust. Measuring 80 x 50 cm, they are ideal for larger surfaces, and their formula guarantees that they are silicone-free and completely harmless. They remain effective and do not dry out until they are fully saturated with sanding dust or dirt.
