The Oil Thinner is suitable for OLI NATURA® oils and waxes. Add it to the product and stir thoroughly. Follow the application instructions for the respective oil or wax. It is not suitable for the water-based OLI NATURA® SCANDIC OIL.

How can I extend the working time of OLI NATURA® Natural hardwax oil?

Mix 10 parts OLI NATURA® Natural hardwax oil with 1 part OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner and stir thoroughly. This makes it easier to apply the product to larger surfaces. Test the mixture on a sample area beforehand, then apply it promptly.

Can I make thickened oil usable again?

Yes, as long as the oil has not yet hardened. Stir in OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner thoroughly and test the mixture on a sample area before use.

How do I mix a coloured maintenance oil?

Mix 1 part OLI NATURA® Colour HS Professional Oil with 2 parts OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner. Pour in the oil first, then add the thinner while stirring. Test the colour effect on a sample area. Apply the maintenance oil thinly and polish out all excess completely. No visible oil residue may remain.

How do I clean brushes and rollers?

After finishing work, rinse brushes and rollers in OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner, squeeze them out with a cloth, and leave them to dry. Between applications, you can store the tools in a suitable container with Oil Thinner. Squeeze them out thoroughly before reuse.

Alternative for cleaning tools: You can also use OLI NATURA® brush cleaner in bio quality . Then rinse the tools with water and leave them to dry.

Does OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner remove dried oil residue?

No. You can remove fresh oil splashes from glass, metal, plastic, or lacquered surfaces immediately with a cloth moistened with Oil Thinner. Test compatibility beforehand in an inconspicuous area. The thinner cannot remove heavily dried or hardened oil.
