The Swedish red sanding pads are suitable for all 13-inch disc sanding machines and are recommended for various tasks. They can be used for intermediate sanding or to abrade an existing finish. They can also be used for cleaning sanding of weathered oiled wooden floors.
The sanding result is approximately equivalent to grit 150. The standard pads are approximately 8 mm thick and have a diameter of 330mm (13').
Unlike sanding screens, the pad works more gently and leaves virtually no sanding marks. Unlike other pads, the sanding pad wears down during use.
Approximately 10 - 15 m² can be treated with one side of the pad. However, this figure is only a non-binding guideline; the actual coverage depends greatly on the conditions on site.
