OLI NATURA® Wood Care Oil

Prepare the surface

Remove dust and loose dirt. Clean the surface with OLI NATURA® wood soap . For heavy soiling or stubborn care product residue, use OLI NATURA® PreOilCleaner intensive cleaner . Allow the surface to dry completely before re-oiling.

Shake the container well before use.

Small areas – furniture and stairs

1. Apply a small amount of wood care oil with a white polishing pad or cotton cloth and polish it in.
2. Within 10 minutes, remove all excess oil with a dry cotton cloth or oil-absorbing cloth and buff dry.

Large areas – parquet and floorboards

1. Apply a thin, even coat of wood care oil sparingly with a sprayer or floor mop. Work in sections of approx. 4 m². Re-oil dry areas as needed.
2. Within 10 minutes, work it in thoroughly with a white polishing pad until the surface looks even. Alternatively, use a single-disc machine.
3. Remove all excess oil with a white pad or oil-absorbing cloth and buff dry. No oil must remain on the surface.

Coverage

One coat at approx. 10–20 ml/m², corresponding to approx. 50–100 m²/L. Actual coverage depends on the type of wood, absorbency and condition of the surface.

Drying

Dust-dry after approx. 1–2 hours. Allow to dry for at least 12 hours, preferably overnight, before use. Fully cured after 2–3 days. During this time, protect from water, avoid heavy use and do not clean with a damp cloth.

Important notes

For suitable, oxidatively oiled wood surfaces only. Do not use on UV-oiled prefinished parquet. For factory-oiled surfaces, test suitability on an inconspicuous area first.

Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat.

Risk of spontaneous combustion: Oil-soaked cloths, pads and sponges can spontaneously combust due to heat buildup. After use, store them under water or dampen them and lay them out separately to dry outdoors before disposal. Avoid heat buildup.
