Wood can have colour - and still remain wood.
Three functions. One product. OLI-NATURA® COLOUR hardwax oil is a pigmented oil-wax combination. Plant-based oils impregnate the wood from within, carnauba wax provides additional surface protection, and lightfast colour pigments create a natural, transparent colour effect.

Which types of wood and applications is OLI-NATURA® COLOUR hardwax oil suitable for?
OLI-NATURA® COLOUR hardwax oil is the right choice when you want to change the colour of the wood while protecting it at the same time - without prior staining and subsequent separate final treatment. This saves an additional work step.
Whether furniture, dining tables, kitchen worktops, stairs, doors, wall panelling or windowsills - the pigmented hardwax oil is suitable for almost all types of wood and wood-based materials indoors, including solid wood, finger-jointed wood, veneer, plywood, multiplex, OSB, bamboo and cork.
Do you want light woods to remain as light as possible? Cotton White reduces the natural enhancement of the wood grain and yellowing - ideal for a light Scandinavian look. Light White also visibly lightens the surface. For colourless protection, OLI-NATURA® hardwax oil Natural is the right choice.
What does wood look like after applying OLI-NATURA® COLOUR hardwax oil?
The natural wood appearance is preserved. The grain and structure remain visible and tangible - only the colour changes.
The final colour effect results from the interaction between the wood and the oil. The type of wood, its natural colour and the sanding determine how the same colour will look later. That is why a sample area on the original wood shows the colour most reliably. All colours are also available as samplers.
Cotton White reduces the natural enhancement of the wood grain and yellowing on light woods. Light White also visibly lightens the surface. Dark colours appear more intense on light woods, while light colours correspondingly appear more subtle on dark woods. All colours can be mixed with one another and individually toned down with OLI-NATURA® hardwax oil Natural. A second application intensifies the colour effect; with OLI-NATURA® hardwax oil Natural, it is preserved.
Lightfast colour pigments slow down the natural colour change of wood caused by UV light and help preserve the colour effect for as long as possible.
How easy is OLI-NATURA® COLOUR hardwax oil to apply?
It is easy to apply evenly. One application is usually sufficient for furniture. A second application is recommended for stairs and heavily used worktops - without intermediate sanding.
Hardwax oil is not lacquer. Apply it thinly - that is sufficient. The surface is hard-wearing, dirt- and water-repellent, and easy to maintain. Scratches and signs of use can be repaired locally or simply refreshed at any time - without sanding. The oil does not crack, peel or flake. If the colour is to be preserved, apply the second coat with OLI-NATURA® hardwax oil Natural.
What can you rely on with OLI-NATURA® COLOUR hardwax oil?
Once fully cured, the surface is safe for people, animals and plants. It remains open-pore and breathable, helping to create a pleasant indoor climate. Suitable for children's toys. For kitchen worktops, OLI-NATURA® hardwax oil Natural is recommended as the final coat.
