Wellness for wood: This naturally hardening maintenance wax combines oil and wax in one product. It is especially recommended for initial treatment and refreshing parquet and plank floors, stairs, and indoor wooden furniture treated with our oxidatively drying hardwax oils.
The oil replenishes the wood’s pores with fresh oil, while the wax creates a fine surface film. This renews the protective effect and therefore also the resistance.
The maintenance wax is not pigmented. Nevertheless, it subtly enhances the depth of color again.
Thanks to its low viscosity, it is easy to apply: For small pieces of furniture, simply apply a little maintenance product to a lint-free cotton cloth or polishing pad and wipe it over the surface to be treated. To refresh wooden stairs, apply the maintenance wax sparingly with a polishing pad, spread it, and polish it with a cotton or oil-absorbing cloth. To maintain parquet and plank floors, the maintenance wax can also be applied evenly in a thin layer using a sprayer and, after a short application time, polished by hand or with a single-disc machine using a polishing pad.
The wood maintenance product contains only the ingredients necessary for its purpose. In this maintenance wax, refined linseed oil and carnauba wax form the base. The medical-grade isoparaffin ensures good self-penetration, which is why it is so easy to apply.
When should you maintain the surface? The intervals at which the wood surface needs to be refreshed depend on the level of use. Good indications that the surface needs maintenance are when water resistance and/or color depth decreases and/or the surface feels dry and dull. The surface should then be recoated with oil.

Application recommendation:
- Before every maintenance treatment, dry-clean and damp-clean beforehand with OLI-NATURA wood soap. Allow the surface to dry completely.
- Shake the container well before use.
Small surfaces (furniture)
- White pad or soak a cotton cloth with wood maintenance oil and polish it into the wood.
- Within 10 minutes, remove the wet oil with a dry cotton cloth/oil-absorbing cloth and polish. No excess oil may remain.
- Protect from water during the curing time and do not clean with a damp cloth.
Large surfaces (floors):
- Apply maintenance oil evenly in a thin layer using a sprayer or floor wiper. Re-oil dry areas.
- Within 10 minutes, polish the wet oil with a Super hand pad in white or beige under the pad holder for telescopic handle . Alternatively, you can use a single-disc machine. Polish until the surface appears uniform.
- Finally, polish the surface with an Super hand pad in white or oil-absorbing cloth . No excess oil may remain on the surface.
- Protect from water during the curing time and do not clean with a damp cloth.
Drying: Allow the surface to dry for at least 12 hours before use. Overnight is preferable. Do not wipe with a damp cloth during the first few days.
Coverage: Depending on the application and the absorbency of the substrate, 10-20 g/m² per application.
NOTE: Consumption depends on the type of wood and the absorbency of the substrate. Excess material on non-absorbent areas delays drying, as do low temperatures and/or excessively high humidity and/or excessively high wood moisture.
The maintenance oil is recommended for refreshing oxidatively oiled surfaces. Do not use it on UV-oiled finished parquet, as the maintenance oil requires an "open-pore system". If in doubt, create a test area in a concealed location.
NOTE ON THE RISK OF SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION: Oil-soaked cloths/pads can spontaneously ignite due to heat buildup! Therefore, clean them immediately after use or store them under water. The product itself is not self-igniting.
The product is not subject to labelling requirements. The mixture is not classified as hazardous within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. It does not need to be labelled with GHS hazard pictograms or signal words and is not classified as dangerous goods.
