Preparation

• Sand the surface professionally: furniture max. grit 180, stairs/floors grit 120
• Thoroughly remove dust
• For sanding finer than 180 grit: use Hardener component (B) OLI-NATURA Hardener a mixing ratio of 10:1 is recommended
• Apply the oil and work at room temperature
• For cleaning and better oil absorption: wipe with diluted OLI-NATURA PreOilCleaner using a barely damp cloth, allow to dry, smooth the fibers if necessary, and remove dust thoroughly.

⚠️ Note: If the surface has been pre-treated with “Antique” reactive stain, do not wet the surface or clean it with PreOilCleaner.

Application on furniture, stairs, and worktops

• Stir/shake the oil thoroughly before use.
• Optional 2K application: Mix the oil and OLI-NATURA Hardener thoroughly in a ratio of 10:1 until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
• Apply the oil thinly and evenly with a brush, roller, or beige pad. Massage in and distribute evenly with a beige pad - manually or mechanically.
• After approx.
• 30-60 minutes polish off excess oil with a white pad or lint-free cloth until the surface no longer appears wet. Do not leave puddles. If necessary, polish again the following day with a small amount of oil (
• 5–10 ml/m²).Application on floors 
  

Stir the oil thoroughly before use (stir colored oils regularly during application).

• within 60 minutes at the latest - with a single-disc or polishing machine (beige pad) until the wood is saturated. • Note: If there is still too much oil on the surface before working it in, the excess can first be firmly removed with a foam rubber squeegee. foam rubber squeegee can be firmly removed.
  
• After the oil has been absorbed and worked in, remove excess oil with a white pad or oil-absorbing cloth and polish - by hand or machine.
  At the end, the surface should look rich and silky, but not wet . Do not leave an oil film or puddles.Coverage:

1 coat, depending on the absorbency of the substrate, 20-40 g/m² per coat (25-50 m²/l) Drying: 

Dust-dry after 1.5–2 hours, fully cured in 5 days. Using hardener shortens the curing time by 2–3 days. Treat gently during this time, protect from water, and do not clean with a damp cloth. Storage:

Unopened in the original container, shelf life is approximately 36 months (clear), 24 months (coloured). Cleaning tools:

OLI-NATURA brush cleaner or oil thinner. TIPS & NOTES:

2K application:  

• Mix with OLI-NATURA Hardener at a ratio of 10:1. Pot life approx. 3 hours. Curing time is shortened by 2–3 days. Only mix the required amount - do not pour leftovers back into the original container. Coverage:
• Depends on the type of wood, sanding, and absorbency. Excess delays drying - as do low temperatures, high humidity, or wood that is too damp. Avoiding colour differences:
• Before use, pour containers from different batches together and mix. ⚠️
• Risk of spontaneous combustion: Rags, pads, or sponges soaked with oil can ignite due to heat accumulation. Always wet them and leave them spread out to dry outdoors or store them under water. Mit Öl getränkte Lappen, Pads oder Schwämme können sich durch Wärmestau entzünden. Immer befeuchten und im Freien ausgebreitet trocknen lassen oder unter Wasser aufbewahren.

The oiled wood surface retains its natural charm when it is cleaned and cared for regularly. Dust and dirt can easily be removed with a dry or slightly damp cloth - please never wipe with a wet cloth. Parquet flooring should be vacuumed or swept daily, as sand and dust can cause fine scratches.

For gentle cleaning, we recommend the concentrated OLI-NATURA wood soap, which gently removes dirt without putting stress on the wood. To renew the protection, the surface can be refreshed regularly with OLI-NATURA wood care oil or the OLI-NATURA wood refresher .

How often the wood should be reoiled depends on the type of wood, use, and level of wear. Noticeable signs include reduced water resistance or a dry, dull surface - then it is time for a refreshment.

The product is not subject to labeling requirements. The mixture is not classified as hazardous within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. It must not be labeled with GHS hazard pictograms or signal words and is not classified as dangerous goods. 

Oil-soaked cloths/pads can spontaneously ignite due to heat accumulation! Therefore, clean them immediately after use or store them under water. Keep out of reach of children. P102 Keep out of reach of children.
