2K worktop oil for wood and wood-epoxy surfaces
From the Blacklabel Edition. Developed with Jungo Design - for river tables, epoxy resin tables, wood-epoxy worktops, and other high-quality wood and wood-epoxy projects.
The preconfigured 2K system consisting of 500 ml Worktop-Oil and 100 ml Hardener combines the requirements of wood and epoxy resin in one seamless surface concept.
The 100% high-solid formulation based on linseed oil and tung oil ensures maximum wood saturation, enhances the grain, and creates a durable, water-repellent surface. The chemically cross-linking oil-hardener system increases resistance, particularly under moisture exposure and the fine sanding commonly used in wood-epoxy applications.
Highly transparent - for a natural wood appearance without a cloudy effect. The pigment-free system can be applied across the entire wood and epoxy resin surface. After polishing the resin areas, it creates a visually and tactilely homogeneous surface without distracting transitions between wood and epoxy resin.
Ideal for river tables, epoxy resin tables, wood-epoxy worktops, designer furniture with resin inlays, and high-quality custom and one-off pieces.
Result: A matte, tactile finish with natural depth, high transparency, and excellent everyday durability.
Preparation
- Sand the surface professionally and remove dust.
- Recommended final sanding grit for furniture: up to P180.
- For wood-epoxy surfaces and fine sanding, 2K application is recommended.
- Wood moisture content: 8–12%.
- The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and free of release agents.
Note:
Before the final sanding of the wood, wipe the surface with OLI-NATURA PreOilCleaner while slightly damp. Removes sanding residue and reduces reactions caused by tannins. Then allow to dry for at least 2 hours.
When pre-treating with OLI-NATURA Reactive Stain “Antique”, do not wet the surface and do not use PreOilCleaner.
Application
- Thoroughly mix Worktop-Oil and Hardener at a mixing ratio of 5:1.
- Apply immediately. Pot life approx. 2–3 hours. Do not pour excess material back into the container.
- Apply the oil thinly and work it in evenly with a beige pad. On larger surfaces, distribute it beforehand with a squeegee or rubber wiper if necessary.
- Allow to penetrate for 15–30 minutes.
- Polish off excess material dry with a white pad.
- If there is a large excess of material, remove it beforehand with a cloth or pull it off with a rubber wiper.
NOTE: For wood-epoxy surfaces: Epoxy resin does not absorb oil. Remove excess material from resin surfaces and polish dry.
Coverage
- 1 coat at approx. 20–40 g/m² (approx. 25–50 m²/L).
- Coverage varies depending on the type of wood, sanding pattern and absorbency.
Drying
- Depending on temperature and humidity, dust-dry after 1–2 hours and fully cured after 2–3 days.
- During this time, protect from water and handle gently.
Cleaning
- Clean tools immediately after use with OLI-NATURA brush cleaner, OLI-NATURA Oil Thinner or white spirit.
⚠ Safety
Oil-soaked cloths can spontaneously combust.
After use, store them in an airtight container or immerse them in water.
Low maintenance - a major advantage
A common misconception: Oiled surfaces are considered high-maintenance. In fact, they are particularly easy to maintain - simply re-oiling them refreshes their appearance time and again, and scratches can be repaired selectively.
Freshly oiled wood is sensitive to water during the first few days. Contact with liquids should be avoided until it has fully cured, and spilled water should be wiped up immediately.
Here are some care tips:
Routine cleaning
- Dust regularly with a soft cotton cloth.
- Remove light dirt with a slightly damp cloth.
- Clean stubborn dirt with OLI-NATURA wood soap – do not use all-purpose cleaners, as they dry out the wood.
Protection from moisture & heat
- Do not leave standing liquid on the surface.
- Wipe up spilled drinks immediately.
- Place hot pots only on trivets.
Refreshing & care
- Re-oil as needed - when the wood appears less water-repellent or looks dry.
- To refresh the protective layer, use OLI-NATURA wood care oil, OLI-NATURA Refresher, or care with itself Apply a thin layer with a cotton cloth and rub in evenly.
Easy repairs
- Fine scratches can be removed by lightly sanding and re-oiling.
- Smooth damaged areas locally with sandpaper and treat them with the original oil.
- Color differences even out over time.
With minimal effort, oiled wood stays beautiful and durable for a long time.

The product is not subject to labelling requirements. The mixture is not classified as hazardous within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. It does not need to be labelled with GHS hazard pictograms or signal words and is not classified as dangerous goods.
Oil-soaked cloths/pads can spontaneously ignite due to heat accumulation! Therefore, clean them immediately after use or store them under water. Keep out of reach of children. P102 Keep out of reach of children.
