Versatile solvent-based helper
The low-odour, aromatic-free OLI-NATURA oil thinner, based on isoparaffinic hydrocarbons, is ideal for cleaning tools after oiling and for adjusting the flow properties of our oils (not suitable for Scandic Oils).
It makes oils that have thickened during storage workable again and can also be used to dissolve sticky oil films shortly after application - but only as long as the oil has not yet oxidized. Please test beforehand in an inconspicuous area.
It can also be used to make a pigmented maintenance oil from coloured high-solid oils such as Colour-Oil, HS hardwax oil (coloured), or HS Professional Oil (coloured), using a mixing ratio of 2:1 (thinner:oil).
Hardened oil residues cannot be removed or dissolved with the thinner.
Carefully stir OLI-NATURA Oil Thinner into the oil. For colored maintenance oils to refresh oiled surfaces, mix 2 parts thinner with 1 part colored HS Oil or mix 1:1 with colored Project Oil. Always remove excess completely.
Store brushes and rollers in the thinner between work steps and wipe them out thoroughly before reuse. After completing the work, rinse thoroughly in the thinner, squeeze out, and leave to dry. Clean soiled tools or surfaces made of glass, metal, plastic, or lacquer immediately with a cloth moistened with thinner - not effective for dried oil residue!
