OLI NATURA® boiled linseed oil for wood: traditional wood finishing from our Heritage Collection “New Old School” - a nearly forgotten classic, reimagined. In the past, boiled linseed oil was a standard coating for wooden surfaces and structural elements - both indoors and outdoors. In 2015, we revived the traditional formulation, refined it carefully, and had it tested for food contact. Today, »OLI NATURA boiled linseed oil« stands for one of the most traditional ways to protect wood naturally. It penetrates deeply, cures in the wood, and forms a durable, water- and dirt-repellent coating. The surface remains breathable, does not crack or flake off, and can easily be maintained and recoated when needed. Which wood surfaces is OLI NATURA® boiled linseed oil suitable for? The transparent boiled linseed oil is suitable for the natural initial treatment of absorbent wood surfaces indoors and outdoors. It protects cutting boards, end grain, kitchen wood, turned objects, bowls, and knife handles, as well as wooden toys, birdhouses and bee houses, windows, and doors. The boiled linseed oil is solvent-free, suitable for children's toys, and LFGB-tested and suitable for wood surfaces that come into contact with food. How does OLI NATURA® boiled linseed oil affect wood? OLI NATURA boiled linseed oil is transparent and unpigmented, but it enhances the wood: the color and grain gain visibly greater depth, making the wood look more vibrant, warmer, and richer. Particularly light-colored wood species develop a natural honey tone. Since the color effect depends on the wood species and base tone, we recommend applying a test coat in an inconspicuous area beforehand. How is OLI NATURA® boiled linseed oil used? Apply the boiled linseed oil thinly and evenly with a cotton cloth or brush. After the penetration time, carefully remove excess oil and repeat the application after sufficient drying. Two to three coats are usually sufficient. What makes the traditional formulation special? Our purity promise for boiled linseed oil: pure, cold-pressed linseed oil, gently cooked and containing only as much drying agent as necessary. It accelerates and evens out the curing process. We deliberately avoid additional additives and solvents.  

For buffing, applying & spreading wood oils. Our OLI-NATURA oil-absorbing cloths are ideal for absorbing excess oil and finishing freshly oiled surfaces. They are highly absorbent, particularly tear-resistant, and lint-free, ensuring a professional finish on wood surfaces. The solvent-resistant and silicone-free cloths measure 38 x 34 cm and are made of a high-quality viscose synthetic fiber whose chemical composition resembles cotton. This “natural synthetic fiber” with its fine perforated structure is perfect for cleaning, caring for, and polishing sensitive surfaces. In addition to use with wood oils, the cloths are also ideal for versatile cleaning tasks in the workshop or household. They also perform excellently when oiling small wooden objects. Note: Oil-soaked cloths can spontaneously ignite due to heat buildup! After use, they should therefore be spread out and dried in a well-ventilated place, washed out, or stored under water.

TEAK OIL & DECKING OIL FOR OUTDOOR WOOD Sun and rain change wood. Even weather-resistant woods such as teak fade and turn gray over time. Regular oiling with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil counteracts the silvery-gray patina and helps protect the wood surface from drying out and becoming brittle. The oil penetrates deep into the wood and protects it from within. The surface remains open-pore and water-repellent, while the color and grain are visibly refreshed - without a closed film layer. Which types of wood and applications is OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil suitable for? For wood terraces, decking boards, garden furniture, pool surrounds and yacht decks made of suitable outdoor woods such as teak, bangkirai, Douglas fir, larch, eucalyptus, black locust, oak, Ipé or cumaru. The right choice when you want to preserve and visibly emphasize the warm character of the wood and are looking for a biocide-free wood oil for outdoor use. A particular advantage is the easy maintenance: The oil penetrates the wood and remains open-pore. The oil coating does not crack, peel or flake. Previously oiled surfaces can therefore usually be recoated easily without sanding. What does wood look like after applying OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? Oiling gives the wood greater depth and warmth. The color and grain appear more vivid, while the surface remains open-pore and natural to the touch. Natural contains no pigments, but it is not visually colorless: Like any color-enhancing oil, it deepens the existing wood tone. Teak is lightly pigmented, subtly enhances warm wood tones and provides increased UV protection. The Teak color is also suitable for other types of wood without covering them in a teak tone. The type of wood, its natural color and sanding affect the color tone. A sample area on the original wood provides the most reliable indication. All color tones are available as samplers. How easy is OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil to apply? Apply thinly, allow to penetrate, remove excess. Apply the oil evenly in the direction of the grain and polish completely after about 15 minutes. Apply only to clean, dry wood. Then protect the freshly oiled surface from rain and moisture for 5–8 days. Very dry or highly absorbent wood can be oiled a second time after drying overnight. Treat dense woods such as teak only thinly. One coat is usually sufficient for refreshing the surface. Previously oiled surfaces can generally be maintained without sanding. Depending on weather and use, refreshing once a year is usually sufficient; for fully exposed wood, twice a year if needed. What can you rely on with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? Proven over many years. We have been manufacturing OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil with virtually no changes for over 20 years. We deliberately formulate it without biocides or preservatives. This makes the wood oil suitable not only for outdoor use, but also for suitable wood surfaces indoors.

RAW WOOD LOOK. ALMOST LIKE UNTREATED. Inspired by Scandinavian interior design, OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE preserves the natural appearance of light-colored wood. The typical intensification of the wood tone is reduced, the natural color remains largely unchanged, and the surface looks almost freshly sanded. Its high light stability helps slow darkening and yellowing while providing reliable everyday protection. Even on deeply brushed and textured oak, pigment accumulation in the pores remains almost invisible. This creates a calm, natural raw wood look without a limed effect. When is OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE the right choice? When you want to protect light-colored wooden furniture or stairs while preserving their freshly sanded character as much as possible. Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE is particularly suitable for modern raw wood surfaces where a classic oil would intensify the wood tone too strongly. For wooden floors, use OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil CLASSIC. What is OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE suitable for? The raw wood effect oil is suitable for protecting solid wood surfaces in residential interiors - from furniture and tabletops to stair treads, wall panels, and moldings. It is particularly suitable for untreated light-colored softwoods and hardwoods such as oak, ash, spruce, or fir. For more heavily used surfaces, 2K application with OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener is recommended. What does wood look like after applying OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE? The wood's natural color remains largely unchanged. The pores are not highlighted in white - creating a naturally raw surface without a limed effect that looks and feels like freshly sanded wood. Optional additional work steps can be used to adjust the surface appearance precisely. The impregnation can be refreshed repeatedly by re-oiling with OLI NATURA® Refresher. Testing on a sample area of the original wood is recommended. 20-ml samplers are available for this purpose. How easy is OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE to apply? The raw wood effect oil is applied to bare wood in two coats - by brush, roller, or spray application. Since the water content can raise the wood fibers, light intermediate sanding after the first coat is recommended. Polishing the still-wet second coat with a pad makes the surface more matte and helps prevent layer formation and streaks. OLI NATURA® Refresher can be used for initial care or an optional third coat. When is 2K application recommended? For more heavily used surfaces, Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE is applied with OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener in a 10:1 ratio. The additional cross-linking increases resistance to water, grease, and typical household stresses. 2K application should generally be used for tabletops and surfaces where grease splashes are expected. What other features does OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE offer? VOC-free, low-odor, and tested for interior use. The raw wood effect oil contains no volatile organic solvents, complies with DIN EN 71-3, is resistant to saliva and perspiration in accordance with DIN 53160, is approved by DIBt, and is declared by baubook. Oil-soaked pads and cloths are not prone to spontaneous combustion.

OLI NATURA® hardwax oil for almost all indoor wood surfaces Oil impregnates. Wax protects. OLI NATURA® hardwax oil is the ECARF-certified oil-wax combination for almost any indoor wood project. The oil impregnates the wood from within, while the wax additionally protects the surface with a fine protective film. The grain and structure are subtly emphasized, while the surface remains open-pore and tactile. The subtle enhancement of the wood brings out particularly light types of wood harmoniously. The result is a satin-matte finish. For an even more matte appearance, the surface can be polished with a white oil pad during the wet phase. How easy is OLI NATURA® hardwax oil to apply? The oil-wax combination can be applied easily and evenly. One coat is usually sufficient for furniture. Wood oil protects where it is needed: in the wood. Pads help distribute the oil evenly, work it in intensively, and then polish the surface. With the 21-piece pad set, you get everything you need for this purpose. 21-piece pad set for wood oils - for working in and polishing The beige massaging pad supports the intensive working-in of the wood oil. The softer white polishing pad is used after the working time and serves for the final polishing. Both fleece pads are free of abrasive grit and non-abrasive. What is included in the pad set for wood oils? The set includes 10 beige massaging pads, 10 white polishing pads, and 1 reusable mini hand pad holder with hook-and-loop system. The pads measure approx. 15 × 8.5 cm, can be used on both sides, and can be changed quickly on the holder. Why is the pad set particularly suitable for high-solid wood oils? It is particularly useful for high-solid wood oils with lower absorption, such as OLI-NATURA® Professional Oil or Worktop-Oil. Which pad is used for working in and polishing? In short: beige for distributing and working in, white for polishing. Beige massaging pad - for distributing and working in:The medium-soft, slightly grippier pad supports the mechanical working-in of the wood oil and promotes optimal wood saturation. White polishing pad - for final polishing:After the working time, polish the freshly oiled wood surface with the white polishing pad. If there is still a noticeable amount of excess oil on the surface, first remove it with a lint-free cloth. Then work out any fine excess with the polishing pad until an even, natural surface appearance is achieved without a wet or sticky oil film. Which wood surfaces is the pad set suitable for? The compact pad format is particularly suitable for furniture, tabletops and worktops, smaller wood surfaces, as well as edges, corners, and hard-to-reach areas. The pads are primarily suitable for smooth to finely sanded wood surfaces. For very rough, grooved, or textured surfaces, testing on a small area first is recommended, as the fleece may snag there. Are the fleece pads free of abrasive grit? Yes. Both the beige massaging pad and the white polishing pad are free of abrasive grit and non-abrasive. They are used to distribute, work in, and polish wood oil and have no abrasive effect. Are replacement pads and pads for larger areas available? Beige massaging pads and white polishing pads can be reordered separately. For larger wood surfaces, Super Pads are available; for machine application, suitable round polishing pads for random orbital sanders are available.

The 100% high-solid formulation based on linseed oil and tung oil provides maximum wood saturation, intense enhancement, and a durable, water-repellent surface. The pigment-free oil intensifies the natural color of the wood, highlights the grain and structure, and provides a matte, tactile finish with excellent everyday durability. Our Super Pads in white, beige, and green consist of a blend of polyester and/or nylon fibers coated with a tough, highly elastic acrylic/latex binder. The final colour effect results from the interaction between the wood and the oil. The type of wood, its natural colour and the sanding determine how the same colour will look later. That is why a sample area on the original wood shows the colour most reliably. All colours are also available as samplers. Cotton White reduces the natural enhancement of the wood grain and yellowing on light woods. Light White also visibly lightens the surface. Dark colours appear more intense on light woods, while light colours correspondingly appear more subtle on dark woods. All colours can be mixed with one another and individually toned down with OLI-NATURA® hardwax oil Natural. The OLI-NATURA Hardener is the B component for selected 2K oils and enables significantly faster curing, greater resistance, and optimal oil bonding. Through additional molecular cross-linking, deeply anchored, closely cross-linked oil structures are formed, making the surface particularly robust and durable. Thanks to its VOC-free formula (0% solvents), the hardener is environmentally friendly and safe to use. It improves chemical resistance and optimizes pigment absorption in coloured oils. Especially with a very fine final sanding, it ensures that the oil penetrates deeply into the wood fibres even with high grits. Application with OLI-NATURA Hardener is particularly recommended for heavily used surfaces such as floors, stairs, and worktops, as well as for wet rooms and wood and epoxy resin projects with very fine sanding - ideal wherever quick use of the surface is required. Note: This product contains less than 0.1% diisocyanate monomers and may therefore be used without additional training. FOR REGULAR CLEANING OF OILED WOODEN SURFACES Footprints, food stains, adhering dirt - oiled wood has to withstand quite a lot in everyday use. Usually, a dry cloth or clear water is sufficient. Where dirt can no longer be removed this way, OLI NATURA® wood soap comes into play. It cleans and cares for the surface in a single step, removes everyday dirt and also has a replenishing effect. This preserves the natural character of the wood - it can be used undiluted or diluted in a variety of ways. Which wooden surfaces is OLI NATURA® wood soap suitable for? For oiled, waxed, soaped or lye-treated wood indoors - from parquet and floorboards to stairs, furniture and other wooden surfaces that can be wiped with a damp cloth. Suitable for private and commercial use. When does wood need more than OLI NATURA® wood soap? Wood soap handles regular cleaning and maintenance care. For heavy, old, ingrained or deep-seated dirt, basic or intensive cleaning is the better choice - especially before re-oiling. If the surface appears dry, dull or visibly worn, maintenance oil for oiled wood is recommended. Does OLI NATURA® wood soap change the appearance of the wood? Wood soap cleans without leaching the surface or leaving a grey haze. This leaves the wood looking clean, fresh and naturally cared for after cleaning. How easy is OLI NATURA® wood soap to use? For regular cleaning, add 5–10 ml of wood soap per litre of lukewarm water and wipe with a damp cloth - using a cloth or white pad on small areas, and a floor wiper or flat mop on floors. For more stubborn dirt, apply undiluted to the affected area. The pH-neutral formula is gentle on skin and wood. What else makes OLI NATURA® wood soap special? The concentrated formula is highly economical, solvent-free and pleasantly fresh-scented. The bottle is made of 100% recycled plastic and is fully recyclable. A push-and-turn closure ensures child-safe handling.

Today as in the past, hand sanding is still often and gladly used, for example when working on smaller wooden furniture surfaces or curved workpieces and corners. 2-in-1 sanding sponge, coated on all 4 sides, reusable Grit 100 = medium = P220, fine sanding The aluminum oxide coating ensures good material removal Dimensions: 98 x 66 x 25 mm The medium-hard foam core adapts well to the surface This red 2-in-1 sanding sponge with a P220 sanding finish combines sandpaper and a sanding block in one piece. This grit is ideal for fine sanding raw wood surfaces, intermediate sanding, and resanding wet-treated surfaces. The foam core makes the sponge comfortable to hold and allows it to adapt to the surface being worked on. Slight grain shedding is normal, and the workpiece should be dusted after sanding.The sanding sponge is reusable. Clean it thoroughly after each use to remove sanding dust and other contaminants. To do this, rinse the sanding sponge under running water and, if necessary, scrub it with a soft brush or cleaning cloth. If the sanding sponge is very dirty, use a mild cleaning agent if necessary. Then allow the sanding sponge to dry completely before using it again.

Wellness for wood: This naturally curing maintenance oil for oiled wood surfaces has many beneficial properties: It refreshes the “faded” color of the wood, gives the surface new depth and radiance, absorbs very quickly, and replenishes the pores with fresh oil. This renews the protective effect and, consequently, the resistance of the surface. It is particularly recommended for initial care and refreshing parquet and plank floors, stairs, and indoor wooden furniture treated with oxidatively drying impregnating oils. The natural oil-based maintenance oil is not pigmented. Nevertheless, it enhances the wood’s grain and color. PreOilCleaner thoroughly cleans and ensures optimal preparation of untreated or freshly sanded wooden surfaces such as furniture, stairs, parquet and paneling. It increases the wood’s absorbency and minimizes tannin reactions in tannin-rich woods such as oak. Suitable for all types of wood, it is diluted with water and applied before oiling. Mix the product with warm water and apply evenly in a slightly damp layer using a wrung-out cotton cloth or sponge. For floors, a slightly damp mop is recommended. Allow the wooden surface to dry thoroughly. After complete drying, carry out intermediate sanding if necessary, remove dust, and then treat with an OLI-NATURA oil of your choice. This product is NOT suitable for regular, daily cleaning. When using the OLI-NATURA Antique reactive stain, the surface should NOT be treated with PreOilCleaner beforehand.

Projektöl has now become a classic among impregnating oils and is the universal all-rounder. Thanks to its medical-grade isoparaffin content, it has very high self-penetration. It is therefore easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and does not require vigorous polishing. This makes Projektöl ideal for serial furniture production and components with complex geometries. Projektöl is suitable for almost all indoor woodworking projects - whether for wooden or framed furniture, wall paneling, doors, or stairs. The solids content is 60%, so a single application is entirely sufficient for furniture subject to normal wear. Stairs or tabletops, however, require more protection. A second application is recommended here. The oil can be applied easily with a brush, pad, cloth, roller, sponge, or spray gun. After a short absorption time, the oil should be polished again with a cotton cloth or oil-absorbing cloth. This minimizes differences in gloss that can result from the wood’s varying absorption behavior. With Projektöl in “Natural”, the wood-enhancing effect is very pronounced. There is also the colored Projektöl. The UV-stable pigments tint the wood surfaces transparently. To test the oil’s effect, we offer you a convenient sample size.

For generations, natural waxes have preserved the beauty of valuable furniture and antiques. »OLI NATURA Furniture Wax« continues this tradition in a contemporary way with beeswax and carnauba wax. The solvent-free hard wax gives wood a velvety feel and protects it with a fine, water-repellent wax layer. Applied thinly and polished after drying, it develops a gentle to silky sheen. Which wooden surfaces is OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax suitable for? The colorless, unpigmented wood wax is suitable for the initial treatment of raw wood as well as for caring for oiled, stained, or waxed wooden surfaces indoors. It enhances furniture, antiques, picture frames, wooden mouldings, carvings, and turned woodwork. Its mild odor also makes it suitable for the inside of cabinets and drawers. Other applications include surfaces finished with chalk paint, wooden toys, cutting boards, wooden cooking spoons, and other wooden kitchen utensils. If the type of wood or previous treatment is unknown, first test the product on a small area. How does OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax work on wood? Unlike wood oil, which penetrates the wood and protects it from within, furniture wax works close to the surface and changes the natural color tone less. The grain and structure remain visible, while polishing gives the surface a subtle sheen. Regular rewaxing supports the development of an even, distinctive patina. How is OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax applied? Apply the wax to clean, dry wood. If the consistency is too firm, the closed container can be gently warmed on a lukewarm radiator. Use a soft cotton cloth to spread it sparingly, thinly, and evenly in circular motions. Leave to dry until the surface is touch-dry. Then polish with a fresh cotton cloth or white polishing pad. The more intensively it is polished, the silkier the sheen. For raw or highly absorbent wood, a second thin coat may be advisable after drying. Tip: A discarded, clean, lint-free cotton jersey shirt is also ideal for polishing. What makes the formulation of OLI NATURA® Furniture Wax special? Purified beeswax nourishes the wooden surface, while hard carnauba wax gives the fine wax film strength. The formulation contains no added colorants or fragrances and is free from terpenes—including terpene-containing citrus oils such as orange peel oil—silicones, and VOCs. Cloths soaked with the wood wax are not prone to spontaneous combustion.

Wellness for wood: This naturally hardening maintenance wax combines oil and wax in one product. It is especially recommended for initial treatment and refreshing parquet and plank floors, stairs, and indoor wooden furniture treated with our oxidatively drying hardwax oils. The oil replenishes the wood’s pores with fresh oil, while the wax creates a fine surface film. This renews the protective effect and therefore also the resistance. The “OLI-NATURA Project Oil,” based on natural oils, is used for the colored treatment of furniture, stairs, and floorboards made from almost all types of wood. It has a solids content of 60%, penetrates deeply into the pores, and reliably protects the wood from within. It does not form a surface film, but instead provides an open-pore impregnation. Thanks to the Project Oil’s high inherent penetration, it is particularly easy to apply and highly productive. With just one or two coats, highly water- and dirt-repellent wood surfaces are achieved that are easy to maintain and repair. There are four colors that preserve the natural charm of the wood and enhance the tactile quality of the surface. The pigments preserve the wood’s grain pattern and give the surface a natural color. At the same time, the UV-stable color pigments help counteract the wood’s natural color change for as long as possible.  The Project Oil is ideal for all lye-treated, untreated, sanded, or new wood surfaces, and is also suitable for oriented strand boards (OSB) and cork indoors: whether for wooden or framed furniture, wall coverings, doors or kitchen furniture, parquet floors, or stairs. Easy to apply: Depending on the area of application, the product is applied in one or two working steps with a brush, a pad, or an oil roller, so that the entire wood surface is evenly wetted with a glossy finish. After a short penetration time, the excess is simply removed with a cotton cloth/oil-absorbing cloth and polished again. If required, a second coat can be applied after drying overnight without intermediate sanding.  For furniture subject to normal wear, a single coat is generally sufficient. Floors, stairs, or heavily used furniture require more protection, however. A second coat is recommended here.  To test the effect of the oil, we offer you a practical sample size. Quality: The “OLI-NATURA Project Oil” is based on modified vegetable oils such as linseed oil, medical-grade isoparaffin, and lead- and cobalt-free drying agents. We deliberately avoid using critical substances such as preservatives, formaldehyde, aromatics, biocides, cobalt salts, and oximes. The product dries inside the wood to form a tough-elastic finish in combination with atmospheric oxygen. The oiled surface remains open-pore and breathable. Due to its diffusion openness (water vapor permeability), the treated wood can absorb moisture from the indoor air and release it again when needed. This improves the indoor climate and increases people’s well-being. The cured material is harmless to humans, animals, and plants. It complies with DIN EN 71-3 (safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (resistance to saliva and perspiration), and is a construction product approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).
