The grain and structure remain visible and tangible - only the colour changes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe final colour effect results from the interaction between the wood and the oil. The type of wood, its natural colour and the sanding determine how the same colour will look later. That is why a sample area on the original wood shows the colour most reliably.
